About
I’m Anissa Loades, a registered
psychologist and founder of Attuned
Family Psychology.
I support children, adolescents, adults
and families navigating neurodiversity,
emotional wellbeing, and the complexities
of family relationships.
Over the past 15 years I have helped
many neurodivergent individuals and
families, particularly those impacted by
ADHD. Alongside this, I have spent the last
12 years working within a community and
child protection agency supporting
families experiencing complex trauma.
My approach is grounded in trauma-
informed, attachment-based, and
systemic practice. I understand
emotional wellbeing as something
that develops within relationships,
shaped by our environments
and our capacity to make sense of,
and regulate our experiences.
In addition to therapy, I offer ADHD
assessment, diagnosis, and executive
functioning support, with a focus on
building practical strategies that support
day-to-day life.
Attuned Family Psychology
Philosophy
At Attuned Family Psychology, I believe
meaningful change begins when people
feel understood, safe, and supported.
As a psychologist with extensive
experience supporting families affected
by trauma, along side a personal and
professional understanding of ADHD
and neurodivergence. I bring a
compassionate and practical approach
to therapy and assessment.
Attachment and connection sit at the
heart of my work. I am passionate about
helping individuals and families deepen
understanding, strengthen relationships,
and create lasting change.
